Purchased a Trane 16 months ago. We had our other system, not a Trane, for 15 years with no problems. Within 12 months we had an Oder in the house, coals had to be changed. Now the unit stopped putting out cold air due to an expansion valve problem which will cost about $700 in labor and have to wait in 90 degree weather a week for the part. Based on the advertisements, I expected a better product. I feel mislead. I can't afford a money pit, XL13.
